Who We Are
Our Roots
We are a newly founded organisation that is based in Leicester. We were inspired to help because of consistent news articles coming in with terrible information. Our aim , is to help the environment in many different ways. Whether it's cleaning up a park, or helping a local school reduce its carbon footprint, we make small, key changes to people's lives that end up making one huge difference. These are done voluntarily every month. Our donations go to the environmental charities. These help protect endangered species and land.
What We Do
Some of the hot-spots for pollution are large cities. So we have decided to focus our organisation on these areas. We ask you to make small donations that go to help the the current funding which can be seen on the donating page. We make acts to thank for the contributions which are things like litter picking. We hope you like our programme and you can ask us questions in the "Let's Chat" section in the bottom right hand side corner. All our staff are all volunteers meaning more money for charity.
Donating
At ECO we use your money to go to environmental charities and we do our own acts to encourage people to donate. At the end of every task, we show the results on our "Donating" page. It is compulsory that we save the planet as we can't live without its simple system. That is why we decided to help. Even though there is not much our organisation can do on a global scale, it is all about what you do.
Helping the community
Here at Environmental Care Organisation, We help the community as well as donating to the WWF and other charities like Greenpeace This is key as hygiene for animals and humans is mandatory. To prove that, if you or your animal (if you have one) were covered in unhygienic dirt you could accidentally spread it to somewhere more vulnerable to it. So to remove any chances, we would need to rid the street of unhygienic materials.
Transparency
Our organisation is totally transparent as we publish the result of the acts we take. These include photos of us whilst we take our acts and proofs of our donation to the current funding. These images go at the bottom of the Donating page. If you are unconvinced for any reason, we recommend you use the "Let's chat" as we are informed of your problems and we will solve them as soon as we can.
